Included in every panel

Your age is a number. Your blood has another.

We work out your biological age from nine markers already on your panel, using the PhenoAge model from Levine et al. (2018). Then we show you which markers are pulling it up, and what moves them.

Questions, answered.

Yes, for the markers on these panels. Capillary blood is validated for everything we test and it goes to the same accredited laboratory as a venous sample. There are markers that genuinely need the larger volume of a venous draw, and those are the ones on Complete, where a venous draw is included as standard.
There is, and it is the option most people who ask this end up taking. The arm collector is a small device that sticks to your upper arm; you press it once and it draws the sample itself over about five minutes. No lancet, nothing sharp to look at, and it collects more blood than a finger will give, so fewer samples fail at the lab. It is £25 on top of any panel, chosen at checkout.
From nine markers that are already on the panel: CRP, glucose, creatinine, albumin, ALP, white cells, lymphocytes, MCV and RDW, all run through PhenoAge, a model published by Levine and colleagues in 2018 and validated against large population studies. It is an estimate, not a diagnosis, and the useful part is not the number itself but which markers are pulling it, and whether it has moved by the time you retest.
Every panel is reviewed by a GMC-registered doctor before you see it. If a result needs acting on quickly, you get a phone call rather than an email, along with a letter you can hand straight to your GP. We do not diagnose and we do not prescribe. The point of that letter is to get you seen faster with the evidence already in hand.
For Baseline and Core, no. For Complete’s lipid subfractions we ask for a twelve-hour fast, which in practice means taking the sample before breakfast. Whichever you choose, take it at a similar time of day each time, because several of these markers move considerably between morning and evening, and consistency is what makes a retest meaningful.
You, the reviewing doctor and the laboratory. Nobody else, ever. Blood results are special category data under UK GDPR and we treat them that way: encrypted at rest, never sold, never used for advertising, and deletable on request in full. We are registered with the ICO as a data controller.
Four to five working days from the lab receiving your sample. You will get an email when the sample arrives and another when the doctor has signed it off.
Any time, from your account, in two clicks and with no phone call. You keep every result you have already had. They are yours, not ours. One-off panels never auto-renew; there is nothing to cancel.
Not yet. Kits ship to UK mainland addresses only, because the return leg has to reach the lab within a fixed window for the sample to stay viable. Northern Ireland, the Highlands and the islands are supported but add a day.

We're on a mission to help everyone understand their health before it becomes a problem.
